Trying to find a Wig to Accentuate your Face Shape...

Oval Shaped Face Description:  This shape is considred the "perfect" shape meaning you can wear almost all styles. When you measure your face, your length is equal to about one and a half times width.  Your face is only slightly narrower at the jaw line than at the temples, with a gently rounded hairline.

Avoid: Hair styles that cover up your "perfect" features with heavy bangs, or too forward-directed styles.

Round Shaped Face Description:  If you have a classic round face, you have soft, non-angular features. You may find you have more of a round face when you carry extra weight, but keep in mind many classic round-faced women are super-skinny and still have non-angular features.

Heart Shaped Face Description:  The heart shaped face is widest at the temples and narrowest at the chin, which can sometimes appear pointy (see image above).

Diamond Shaped FaceDescription:  Your face is the widest at the cheekbones, with a narrow forehead.  Your forehead and jaw line are approximately equal in width.  Your shape is a cross between a heart and an oval.  Best Choices:  Almost everything works so you can try a variety of styles. Maintain Proper Care For Your Synthetic Wig

Step 1-Make sure you have the proper accessories to care for your wig which are a wig brush, wig comb, wig stand, wig shampoo/conditioner and various wig styling products. These are usually available in a beauty supply store or a wig store.

Step 2-Remove tangles with a wig brush and a spray wig conditioner. Make sure you do this when wig is dry and NOT wet! And remember to always comb or brush the wig starting at the ends, and not the roots.

Step 3-Remove shine! And you can do this with a product by Bumble & Bumble (Dry Shampoo) it isa powder formula that comes in four shades-clear, brunette, auburn and blonde. You can also apply baby powder to the wig, then shake excess power loose (but if your not careful this can make a mess and white hair on your wig).

Step 4-Store the wig in a closed space, such as a closet, at room temperature and on a wig stand.

Step 5-Use a hair spray formulated especially for wigs to style your wig

Step 6-To reduce the volume of your wig, spray it with cool water and brush with a wig brush. Remember that it's best if you do not use any heat source (including a blow dryer, a curling irons, etc) on  your synthetic hair wig.

Lastly, remember to wash your wig after every 12 to 18 wearings.
